2015 Miramar offensive lineman Leeward Brown committed to the University of Miami in February. Since he made that pledge to the Hurricanes, schools have continued to push for Brown.

Marshall, South Florida, East Carolina, FIU, FAU, and Temple are all still showing Brown heavy attention.

-maintains he is strong in his commitment to the Hurricanes.

-Says “I just like their family tradition and the atmosphere there,” When I went there, it really reminded me of a home away from home. I bonded and got along with everybody and all the coaches there. They just keep it real.”

-Over the past few months, has focused on building a relationship with offensive line coach Art Kehoe.

-Says “Coach Kehoe just wants me to keep my mind on the right track,” “He tells me he is going to keep watching me and keep an eye on me. I am going to stay in contact with him and keep building that relationship.”

-Brown (6-3, 340) has recently recorded a bench press max of 325 pounds and a squat max of 475 pounds.

-This summer Brown plans to take unofficial visits to schools like Alabama and West Virginia.

-Miramar has established a pipeline with the Mountaineers and Brown is excited to see the WVU campus.

-Says “I like what I hear about it,” “I have teammates that have gone there and they tell me how beautiful the campus is there. I just get the feeling that is a school that I like too.”

-Brown’s former Miramar coach, Damon Cogdell, is now an assistant at West Virginia. Brown discussed the relationship he has with Cogdell.

-Says “Nothing has really changed,” “He is family first of all, so I can talk to him whenever I want. Our relationship doesn’t feel any different.”

Underrated. This is the kind of guy that will get an offer from Bama and people will "know" he's legit .

The Miami staff did great in evaluating him early and getting him on board

I don't understand the "beautiful" comments about WVU. My wife graduated from there and I've been there 100 times as I live pretty close. Morgantown, WV is a cesspool and there's nothing "beautiful" about it. I suppose if you're from FLA and you haven't seen mountains (hills) and 1,000's of trees in the same setting, it could be construed as beautiful.

If anyone ever stepped foot on our campus in Coral Gables, they would also see a beautiful campus as well.

The WV co-ed's are known for being very openly friendly to anything, so I can only imagine what goes through the mind of a young 17 yr old after a night spent with one of those eager mountaineer co-eds. They are so talented and have such school spirit that WV doesn't have or need an official Hostess program ( cough cough)

WVU is ranked #1 party school in the nation by Playboy, which supports my statement above.

10 reason why they are #1

So as a big boy in south florida he may have a hard time with the ladies, but as a football recruit visiting in Morgan town he can have co-ed for each of his unmentionables. But I am glad he chose to stand with U and get an education while lessening his chance of catching something he can't get rid of up there in morgantown.

Go Canes

You don't have to be a football recruit to get the whores at WVU. I'm sure it helps, but why do you think I've been there 100 times? LOL

A few of my good friends graduated from WV. Party central.... But you are 100% right. It is a cesspool and I didn't find anything nice about the place.

None of those schools listed can give miami any trouble in recruiting

Here's the "beautiful" campus not touched up by photoshop and shot from an aerial view lol

Judging from the cars in the foreground and the signage, this picture is at least 30 years old.

West Virginia is a ****hole by and large, but let's not pretend these kids actually go there because they like the scenery. They like the coaching staff, they like the playing time, and as mentioned they definitely like the slutties.

Trust me Leeward, you made the right choice, and we're happy to have you bro.

I don't think it's "Morgantown" that is beautiful. but, it's a college town and campus and the football team is treated like gods there. I've been there and it's not somewhere to live, but, it has a college atmosphere and I'm sure appealing to some kids.
