Brown really thinks he is the OC.

One of these reporters should ask this **** about the 30 year old comment his boss made. I bet it would end with him bashing the players.

I heard Jim Mandich say something about college football that I think applies here.
It went something like “when the team plays well the coach should give all the credit to the players...and when the team struggles the coach should take all the blame”
The coach is the one getting paid

Not surprising. Mandich was a great dude.

Brown's not wrong.

****** Thomas was a Selfish kid and put himself before his Teammates and might've caused a Rift in the Locker Room
All Brown is saying is he'd like more players like Homer, Shaq, DeeJay, & Willis.
Would any of us Blame Willis if he decided to sit & not risk Injury? (No) but he's come out and said that he's "Playing for His Brothers".
Richt went out of his way to help Willis (maybe because Willis wanted to better himself & wasn't concerned about playing time), & Jeff Thomas is just as important to the Offense as Willis is to the Defense. So wouldn't Richt try and help him?
IMO I think the punt return after Thomas scored on was the Straw that broke the Camel's back - Thomas took a Big Chance recovering that punt with a Player right on top of him & I think Thomas was trying to make a statement to the Staff.

I'm not a Fan of the Play Calling but Richt and the Staff have to make a Statement, & that is the Staff is in Charge & not the Players. Should the players have some Input? Absolutely & if Richt is Smart he'll listen but Richt has a winning record close to 75% and if he thinks the suggestions don't hold merit the players have to respect it

I listened to a few podcasts after the Pittsburgh game and a lot of them questioned how good is Perry? He's been here 2 years and yes he had 6-7 drops but even if they were caught his passing completion would still have been at best 55%, right around what Rosier is. So, was Richt really wrong by starting Rosier?

Again, Richt has to hire an Offensive Co. but he and Brown aren't Wrong in saying they need more team players and less Selfish players

Don't sound to sure of yourself. Why don't you go back and research it on your own. Come back with substance.....
Aside from recruiting he's done nothing as a coach. Who out there loves a coach before he's proven anything? The response in this thread furthers my point. The guy I replied to has like 25 positive reps and only one negative for saying he's a **** coach. The board doesn't "love" him at all.

Buck stops at the top and coaching staff is the top. I have no use for any coach who throws players they recruit and "develop" under the bus. I remember JJ saying one thing in his first year, "where is all the speed". but that is more on Howard and previous staff not players. If a coach is going to complain, he needs to put a HC trophy in the case first, or shut his frigging mouth, This staff is crap and getting worse. It lost the fans and there no way it has not lost the locker room.

Said months ago that to revamp the offense and hire a real OC that Brown would most likely have to go because it’s unlikely he would accept being just an RB coach. I got pushback on that. Fact is, we’re paying an OC price for a position coach... whose proven he’s not ready for anything other than a simple position coach job with his “cancer“ and “selfish“ comments

To all the guys who keep claiming he’s a great RB coach tell me why. Coaching on a staff that has great RBs on the team doesn’t make you a great RB coach. Position coaches get too much credit for coaching great players. Did Barry Sanders’s position coach teach him how to run?

Yeah Brown’s crap show is old and stale. He helped recruit the players he’s bashing publicly. Who would want to play for this guy? He’s well over his head in his current position and should’ve never been more than a RB coach at best.

Brown especially after the “cancerous players” comment and Richt jr definitely need to be gone.

Brown is the epitome of fake swag that has infected the football program ever since Ryan Moore threw up the U for the first time.

No worries. He's gone after next season, along with the rest of coaching staff failure #4 in a row.

I think he has a point... it’s just a growing process. The offense is young they’ll be fine under Coach Browns wings.
