Film never lies, stars do. It's the coaches to evaluate film and make projections. If stars ever meant anything then there would never be a 5 star bust. Go ask Mark Pope how his stars are helping him out on Saturdays.

Brooks had a really bad knee injury in HS and was more a rush end so I expected it to take a minute to click but he can’t get over the toe injury.

I think you both are correct. The scheme doesn’t protect LBs from OL blocks and often leaves them badly exposed as the DEs don’t maintain leverage. The LBs are also really bad and miss on the easy plays they should make.
I like keontra, probably the best of what we have, but if you didnt know any better, on most plays, you'd think his job is to take out one of the Ol and let the rest of the defense play 10 on 10. like you said, once he gets engaged, hes stuck to that lineman.
Manny is literally the worst overall linebacker coach I've ever seen. He likes small and slow players, it's crazy.
