I’ve said it once, I’ll say it again I don’t try at Zion at LT..at all. That said I trust Garin Justice judgment

As maligned as he was on here last year, I really want to see him succeed. He's sure doing his part to make that happen.

The reason why he was maligned on here last yr, is because this dyck sucking fanbase is filled with irrational star whores. If they had any sense whatsoever, they would've realized that OL is a developmental position group, and what ultimately determines the rate of development, is intangibles, not stars. Smh. This kid had elite intangibles from day 1, and that's why he will turn himself into a legitimate NFL prospect before its all said & done.

It’s great to see him progress.

A few things were clear last year. He wasn’t ready. No one could have expected otherwise. It’s an indictment of our OL and staff and other kids at the spot that Zion had to get thrown out there before he was ready.

It’s also a good way to illustrate why I’m often critical of simplistic ‘nfl kids’ statistics that get posted around here. Zion may well play in the NFL. That won’t be evidence of his being a good player in 2019. That’s why you have to look at actual roster talent, experience, depth, maturity at the time, and can’t just conclude some nfl stat from years later tells the story. If one team had a few future nfl players on its OL who weren’t game ready, and another team had juniors and seniors on its OL who weren’t nfl kids but we’re tough and experienced college kids, which do you think likely has a better OL?
