watched his highlights, and I gotta say.....not really impressed.

This is The U....if were ever gonna get back competing for titles, we need the freakazoids aka the difference makers. just getting 'ok' players which any program can snag is not gonna cut it. and this kid is just an ok player. nothing special.

You are correct in your Assessment. The Kid is not impressive.

That boy is a tight end and a really good one. He will easily get to about 250 in a college program.

I think he has a good skill set to build on. Looks as if he understands in-line blocking and has decent athleticism. I think a lot of people want finished products right out of high school instead of developing players. And only couple seasons of playing football...he will only get better with coaching....that is what the film of him looks like...
