NFL Brian Flores Suing NFL for Discrimination

Flores alleges:

1. During interview with Broncos for HC position, several Broncos executives (including Elway and Ellis) showed up drunk.

2. Ross offered him $100K for each loss. Got mad at him when team won.

3. Flores refused to participate in a tampering plot with Ross for Deshawn Watson. Flores claims that during a meeting with Ross on his yacht, when Flores was informed that Watson would be joining (obvious tampering), Flores left the meeting. I guess Flores just jumped overboard and swam to the shore.

4. During the Giants HC search, Bill Belichick texted Flores congratulating him on the job. Flores had not been interviewed yet. BB thought he was texting Daboll.

Par for the course for billionaires.

So is he upset because NYG had already decided to hire Daboll before they interviewed him and only interviewed him because they had to? Um, welcome to the real world, happens everyday at companies across America. Companies routinely identify the candidate they want for a particular position before posting the job and only perform interviews due to a requirement. Get over it, be more desirable and you'll get hired.

Close thread.

LOL at Ross.

Maybe the NFL will force him to sell the team. Thank you Flo!!
If allegation Ross offered him money to lose games is proven this should be the end of Ross as an owner. Again, if proven, it's ground for NFL to force Ross to sell the team. This is detrimental to the league's integrity and damaging to its business in general. Strong case for kicking him out.

I don’t get it. The Rooney rule is in place and teams have to abide by it. If the guy you interview before is your guy but the league is making you interview someone else it is that guys job to blow your socks off for the job. If the Giants had their mind made up they had it made up. Half the kids we talk about on the recruiting board already have their mind made up about going to the SEC and it’s Miami’s job to convince them otherwise. If they don’t they stick with the school the were enamored with to begin with.
