Brett Romberg interview on 790 this mornings

I've been told it's less than 5 and more than 4. Wasn't given a specific number. I don't see why that isn't doable.

Why would any organization agree to a buyout that it couldn't pay if it needed to in the future?

UM loves floating that "we're poor little private UM" narrative. They do it so people blindly accept the trash we hear about being unable to afford buyouts or competitive salaries. It gives them an out for mistaken hires and for refusing to fix the hiring mistakes.

UM is run by a bunch of lying scumbags who realize that the masses are gullible and retarded and treat the masses accordingly. I'm tired of the BS we get from the school.

We need to start a victory fund of our own that we can donate too to pay for his buyout.

That's retarded. UM has more than enough money to pay for this loser's buyout. They have chosen not to do it because they like Al and can bring him to the Ocean Reef Club with them and Al won't embarrass them in front of their snobby, racist friends.

It's pathetic how the masses are allowing UM to treat us like gullible sheep who will continue to hand them money no matter what kind of horse **** product they serve us. UM fans are allowing UM to serve them bowls of diarrhea that they lap up like German scat fiends.

We need to start a victory fund of our own that we can donate too to pay for his buyout.

Another victim of the "poor UM has to hire, EXTEND, and refuse to fire inferior corches" narrative.

If UM is so poor why would they extend that fat slob and agree to such an onerous buyout?

No answer for that. Just another gullible member of the masses. UM feasts on those people.

Agreed... Donna has washed her hands of the matter and the school want the new Prez to do the butchering.

IF he does stay, it's going to be ACCCG or bust... Any way you slice it, he's toast!

5 mil is all. You have a school like KU that has a fan base that doesn't give two ***** about football that is willing to eat the entirety of whats left on Turner Gils and Charlie Weis contracts. They will be paying three coaches next year. UM won't pay to buy out Golden? Pathetic!

The school up north just fired Folden's superior, have him his $6M payoff and is going to pay Colorado State $7.5M just for the right to pay McElwain $5M/year.

Meanwhile, the money grubbing telemarketer mentality that is UM will continue to prey on rubes and simps who hand them money despite UM refusing to spend any money and compete.

Plus it's almost certainly payable over the contract term, and offset by any earnings during that period. Golden would get hired somewhere. Probably looking at less than 100K a month to buy him out when all is said and done.
