The speed is definitely there, high cruising speed with this kid, doesn't even look like he's trying and is running away from people, it's like a natural springter's stride. No idea about his RB instincts or toughness though. Or his carries situation. Coach doesn't appear to be doing him any favors.

His speed is interesting because he has barely gotten faster since middle school which is concerning in and of itself. He is a junior aau track kid so he had been working on his speed for a longtime.

In 8th grade, He ran 11.18 100m, 22.61 200m PBs as well as 11.64c 100m (2023). 2024 his bests were 10.93 and 22.71. 10.91 and 22.73 in 2025. Doesn’t seem to have ran track in 2026. 10.9 100m is obviously fast however it isn’t burner blazing.

I’m skeptical of it being translatable because all except 1 (video below) of the long runs (15+) his senior year have come against Independence and every on his team had long runs that game.

I understand being skeptical, he did have some long runs junior year as well though.

And also I see he missed a game this season, could the lack of carries be him only playing a series or two in others?

He's basically the same size as Jordan Lyle was coming out of HS.

If he can get up to 200lbs he might play a lil bit.

You know **** well a kid that is listed at 5’8 170, which probably means he is smaller than that, will NEVER play significant minutes here. The kid will be good and productive at Pitt though, they thrive with those types.

Didn't wanna put it in the late risers thread cause he's a top 400 kid who took OVs to OSU, FSU & offers from Miami, FSU, LSU, Kentucky, etc... but man I'd punk Mikey w/ the braids for this kid after we push their **** in tomorrow.
