WR are blocking much better this year. That could be the old TE in Brennan. LBs and TEs definitely looking better. As is the Oline, they did well against a bunch of 5* on Saturday without the benefit of FSU's exemption from holding calls. Not sure what the reasons are but I am guessing the banners had impact on whole staff. If our stupid AD would make Al understand that his job remains on the line every week, we have a chance. Dude goes in to default the moment he is comfortable. There is a difference between working hard(something staff does) and ****ed off because you are scare ****less you are about to be canned.
Something is different since the banners. Something is definitely from last year in Tally. We were hanging on for dear life last year trying to avoid getting blow out. This year, FSU was actually hanging on for dear life. We had nice sustained offensive drives and real defensive stops without turnovers. Any one of 3 or 4 plays and we win. Can't say we were outplayed or not even badly outcoached: they are use to winning and made the big plays late, got lucky and had benefit of favorable refs. We have some reason to be hopeful and some to remain terrified.
