Well technically I think Sorsbys side literally argued for a 2 game suspension. So judge ruled he won and granted that 2 game suspension. I think that’s why it went that way at least… who knows

Quite specifically and literally, a party seeking a TRO is not supposed to be negotiating conditions, such as "judge, we'll take a 2-game suspension".

The ENTIRE TRO DEAL in that case is bull****. And not how TROs are supposed to operate or be issued.

1. Home cooking (TT judges)
2. Timeliness (generally)
3. Lack of alternatives (specifically)

p4 champs do not get an auto bid. the highest rated champs get in. duke was left out bc they were unranked.

in this instance, TTU can be unranked and never get in.

If it happened at many schools outcome would be the same…get a judge whose an alum and get injunction

Everybody loves to scream “GABOS” when we benefit from the chaos. This is the other side of the same coin.

I support teams like Texas Tech and Miami who push the limits. Other teams have been doing it for decades, at our expense. It’s not our job to follow rules that can’t be enforced.

When the sport comes together for a real system, we should be part of that. But until then, I hope Miami is doing everything humanly possible to take advantage of the void.
