#75 BRENDAN LOFTUS UM commit vs DE's from American Heritage in today's championship game in Orlando should be a good*litmus test for Loftus whom many think UM should drop from the 2015 class in favor of higher rated OL prospects.* The game just kicked off.

**** Loftus is getting worked badly on the first two possessions for Godby. He gave up a 3rd down tackle for a loss on a swing pass play were he has thrown down ( ouch).

I will say 2016 DT Cedric Wood from Godby is a beast ( 64 tkls, 10 TFL, 1 FF, 1 FR) and having a good start so far.

Yeah I don't understand this take one bit. I watched him vs IMG and he was not impressive.

This one blows my mind.

I have a hard time believing that his position will be offensive tackle, he will probably be moved inside.

After today I think he gets dropped if staff hasn't already slow played him.

In Regards to Loftus, good lord this young man looks lost an is getting worked badly on virtually every play even the ones going away from him during the 1st half. Lets see if he can pull it together during the 2nd half, which is about to start.

He's been beat every game he's played since committing to the U, I'm not sure what the plan is that they have for this kid. I hear that they like his size and wants to develop him but you either have it or you don't. Unless they are trying to build a pipeline with the school which pushes out D1 athletes every year, if its worth it idk.

**** RB Keshawn bryant just busted a 94 yd run for a Am Heritage TD. He has 140yds on 15 carries an a TD, the soph is putting on a show and it is only the start of the 3rd QTr. Am Heritage is up 21-0 1 minute into the 3rd Qtr.

Wow I didn't think he could play worse than the first half. But he has . There was a swing run play were one defender literally ran around Loftus an then by him to the other side to make the tackle and loftus was looking all around for the defender like a dog chasing his tail. It made me think of the two UF olinemen driving blocking each other during the Georgia Southern game in 2013.

I wish this young man well in wherever he endeavors to attend school on scholarship just not at UM, he will get some hurt badly.

If hometown FSU ain't after a Tally guy, then that tells you the story. Only way we get a Tally stud is if the kids dream was to get out of Tally and they didn't threatened his moms state job.

**** American Heritage defenders knocked out Darius Bradwell's ( QB for Godby) tooth.

The commentators just talked about. American Heritage is killing these kids from Godby.

Seems like everyone on board knew about Loftus talent but our staff still decided to recruit him and is about to make another mistake with this jahair jones kid. This class OL is terrible outside of St. Louis and Milo and I still question why we did not go after Tommy Hatton. Big ups to American Heritage on the win.

After having seen Jones's highlights from JUCO I would disagree that he is a mistake if they except his commit. Jones dominated his JUCO competition for the most part on a ASA has a talented squad. He has 4yrs to play 3yrs so if need be he can even redshirt but I think a spring in the S&C program will help his mechanics, flexibility, and foot work. An the kid seems hungry which is what you want from a OL.

Have you seen Jahair Jones's highlights?

Yes I have a relative that plays on his team, not a bad prospect, just would prefer Hatton who could play center or guard, or Merrick over him. I understand adding depth is good but we can use that scholarship on another guy who would make a bigger impact than jones. I like Jones as a plan c type player.
