2026 Breck Kolojay 4* OL from IMG (via Littleton, CO)

On the bolded...NO IT ISNT.

Not when Mirabol wants a certain type at CENTER.....and the center spot for him being more so dependent or certain things that first year players likely cant handle.

I thought like you as well until i heard about what they like at that spot.

@DMoney has explained it as well before.

They landed their center of the future in SJ they likely let him cook and simmer for 2 years. (he mostly has played guard)...this class may be the first we dont take a center transfer recruit because they possibly end up sliding rodriguez there or francovilla there if he steps up and beats out rodriguez.

Their center in this class is Whoodrow i believe as well. ( i like his tape)

The transfer portal OL i think we should take this class should be a TACKLE. I FORSEE US LOSING BOTH OF ARE BOOKENDS and i want competition for Okunlola and Mccoy/Kinsler.

Im with you on the bolded...this ol class is finished (unless your dropping and adding guys that are higher level that want in) . Whatever funds you had ear marked for Kolojay can be applied elsewhere.
the value of an interior ol has to be the lowest value on a football team outside of punter and kicker.

Gun to head and if they asked me THAT I HAVE TO TAKE ANOTHER OL- I would attempt to flip Micah Smith.

If we really want another iol, I'd like to see us go after champ smith, I don't think UCLA has money like that

THATS THE PART THAT CONFUSED ME....BUT I KNOW @JHallCanes its because i said interior guy....KOLOJAY is highly rated and landing him would be a big deal.

Maybe we still keep in touch because usc likely craps ont hemselves....but those denver and colorado kids like to go to usc....he has a close friend and roommate and guy he plays next to committed there it just makes sense for him to head that way.

I do think SJ is a beast. And I’m not against portaling for centers anyway honestly. Grown man strength and experience there is night and day what it was under Manny

Was just busting your balls about that one

Just feels like we do this exercise a lot where we say a miss is ok because it’s not a priority or whatever but turns out a few years later it actually was a big deal

I just wanted to clear up the Bubba Sparks reference... Pan/Pam scenario type deal.. We have an IOL committed with the last name Sparks which is what prompted the comment I do believe.

oh yea i know that ont he bolded. i was doing the same hence me saying glass case of emotion n all that lol

as you know ol is my specialty.

missing on connor lew likely caused us having to get carpenter and brockenmeyer.

connor lew walked in and played center at auburn it doesnt happen like that all the time but for us to identify him was a feather in cap for mirabal for me.

I think Mirabal asks his centers to make a lot of the line calls, etc. They like seniority at that spot...and its why they have been so heavy in the portal there until they landed "their guy" at center. I think SJ is that guy for them.

Its hard to even project the top center prospects yearly because alt of the guys are playing tackle in high school or even guard.

Like my guy this year probably was Grant Wise. A um legacy at that smh.

Yea I live out here and while it's not exactly a hot bed of talent there is some. Miami is culturally a long way from Denver (Kolojay is technically from Littleton, a suburb to the south) but L.A. is a lot more of a culture fit with the mountains and nature and outdoor stuff. You're not even far from winter sports out there because of the elevation. I think he probably goes to SC.

usc has landed 2 littleton area kids in the last 2 classes as well on the ol.

i could see this if he was the ONLY guy we were recruiting. In all honesty, when was the last time anyone even talked about him? Seems like it's been USC for thepast month or more
