2026 Breck Kolojay 4* OL from IMG (via Littleton, CO)

It’s simple. Look at our roster. Had they came in 2025, none of them would have had a chance to start. Mario isn’t going to invest a great deal of money (I do not agree with this strategy btw) to sit on the bench. Don’t be surprised if we have 2 freshmen minimal starting next year.

I assume you don't mean RS FR? Cause if SJ/Buchanan start that would be proving the opposite of your point.
Cantwell should be expected to start.
From there if a Frosh beat out Samson/Kinsler for LT... I mean it's probably a good sign that Frosh is a pretty good player. And that's IF Bell leaves.
McCoy will likely have LG spot down this yr and next yr.

So to me the question is if SJ steps up and fills the role we intend him to - Starting Center. And RG could be the portal candidate or Ryan Rodriguez or something if Buchanan doesn't win it.

2026 ol class is so good that fsu and uf will end up with good classes because its just so much guys they are gonna luck up into it with guys we wont even target.

Belle glade has an OT we wont even sniff that typically would have been a priority. Look at even Miret locally

For now, my best guess is I see next starting OL:

LT- Bell (Samson if Bell leaves)
LG- McCoy
C- SJ
RG- Kinsler
RT- Cantwell

For sure. If Samson and any other defection happens we will dip into portal just to have the experience in the room. But either way next year our overall OL depth should still be good, just young.

I would be surprised if Samson hangs around tbh. He just graduated and he’s barely on the 2 deep. I do hope he stays but want to be realistic.

That's my exact starting lineup with Samson in there because I think Bell will play too well this season and go to NFL. Also if Mccoy plays too well he might go to and if so I have a portal guy taking that guard spot

I’m gonna assume we are always gonna portal for an OL

I don’t think that’s an indictment on Mario and his recruiting I just think it’s a reality. Getting 5 starters to come through home grown is a tall task

Rodriguez has good shot to win LG spot. But If McCoy wins you are right and he is likely gone and we go portal for that spot.
