Wrote about our new OC. Initially I saw it as a "B" type hire, but the more I looked into it the happier I got. Safe to say Dawson is a MUCH better fit in South Florida than Candle, and I believe he will play into the strengths of our athletes.

Got a Guidry breakdown coming on Monday.

Where’s the tempo idea coming from? Even in the play screenshots in the link, the play lock is down to 7 seconds in both of them.

That article also appears to have been written from the future, or I’m living in the past.

Definitely some 2023s that should read 2022, and at least one 2024 that should read 2023.

You saw 2 plays with 7 secs on the play clock so that means he doesn’t use tempo??

You can still like a hire and it be a nice B type of hire.

In theory, the offense he presents is what most of the fanbase wanted...but it wasn't the name they wanted. There is a bit of "lets see how it goes" to this, so it can't be some A+ hire before he's implemented a single play here.

Anyone associated with Dana's offense is cool by me and I can't wait to see what he does.

I went from meh , B / B- hire to actually liking the hire a lot. Watching his O , creativity , production and play design versus last year here is like comparing a Bentley to a Hyundai.
Bro I saw a slot receiver run a fake whip to a wheel route and immediately got excited 😭. That’s the creativity in route concepts that we need.
