Braxton Berrios

Too many weapons for Berrios to be considered for any type of distinction.

Berrios, Richards, Coley, Lewis, Bruce, Harris, Njoku, Herndon, Yearby, Walton all will have plenty of balls coming their way.

Wrong... none of those guys are anywhere near as quick as berrios. They can't get the same separation. Plus Kaaya and Berrios are boys; that alone will get Berrios more targets than the others.

Did you read what you just wrote? They're boys so Berrios will get more targets? Are you 7 years old?

We must be looking at two different players. I just don't see it. He's looked very average to me

I think the top two targets from the WR group will be Coley and Dayall Harris. And Njoku and Herndon should see plenty of targets as well, given their game breaking ability and versatility from the TE position (ability to play inside outside or from the backfield)

You must not have seen the spring game....

The same spring game Berrios torched the defense with 8 catches 127 yds and a td???

Spring game: 1. Team had just installed a brand new defensive system 2. We were short on DB's, and guys like Henley and Mayes were playing 3. We were short on WR's and Coley pulled a hammy on the first series, as a result, Braxton had no choice but to catch 8 balls, because there was barely any other WR's on the roster.

Just providing a little context

I think he will def increase his production but he does seem to have short arms and doesn't catch the ball all that well but we will see.

Man, shut that dumb shid up. He was our best WR in the spring. He is hands down our quickest player and can get much needed separation on critical downs. Add to that.. The fact that him and the QB are close friends who have created a bond and you can expect this guy to get targets.

Whenever Berrios is on the field, he gets targets. So sit the fuq down somewhere making dumb *** comments asking me if i'm 7 years old.

Not just who has targets but who does the most with targets. I think Coley and Bruce will lead the team in explosive plays.

You're reaching to support your narrative. We just installed a new offensive system too. and we still had plenty of weapons to work with.

Berrios balled. don't discount it just to hate on him. He is a Hurricane, ya know?

How tf does that make any sense? You catch balls because you got open and caught the ball. How was he forced to do that? when he could have dropped those balls, ran the wrong routes. etc....

Stop acting like Mayes and Henley aren't d1 scholar ship athletes. He was out there cooking red wine and corn elder or anyone placed in front of him.

Mrs. Berrios, we're all excited that your son is finally healthy and ready to make an impact.

Perhaps you misunderstood my original point. Your son is likely just as good as the rest of his teammates, but the way Kaaya spreads the ball around means he might not be the go-to-guy that some are envisioning.

Mark Walton 22, 293

Youre corny af.

What is the point of listing those stats when we know Berrios was hurt.

How about you post his target percentage when him and kaaya are on the field together. Berrios is talented and Kaaaya likes him. What is so difficult to understand about that?

There is more proof and credibility in my statements than the bullshid you spew because film doesn't lie. You see potential and talent and project Berrios will fall down the depth chart. When everything from film to press clippings show that Berrios will be one of our most targeted and better weapons this year.

50 catches minimum for Westeban Welker this year. The dude is uncoverable when healthy, and Kaaya loves him.

Seems to catch the ball with his body, which has led to a few drops. Most notably against Nebraska and FSU in 2014. He did come up with a tough catch against FSU last season. And the long run in the bowl game was something people had been waiting to see. For a guy who averages 9.6 ypc and has four career receptions of 20+ yards, he sure does elicit a lot of faith from many of you. Here's to hoping you all are right and that he's the next Don Beebe.

I think Kaaya trusts him the mosT he has the most rapport with Brad I just hope berrios body can withstand all the targets and hits he is gonna get I see over 50 catches for Berrios... He always creates separation every single time... Injuries only thing holding hm back

Lol at Dayall Harris.
