Per Michael Irvin, he pulled a chess muscle while lifting weights.
He will work out during Pro Day on March 28th.
I completely agree. Also, a lot of UM players notoriously do better in the NFL than they did at Miami, for a variety of reasons, but mostly because of previous coaching staff's (think Jamal Carter, Jon Feliciano, Ray-Ray Armstrong, Anthony Chickillo, etc...). Because of that, NFL scouts flood our Pro Day because they know they can get some future studs in the mid-late rounds. Thanks for the update reg. I had a feeling it was something like a soft tissue type injury.
I think strategically it’s a smart thing to do. Even with a soft tissue injury in the chest. If you think it’s going to affect things like you’re 40 time or your shuttle time which is important for a slot receiver like him. Don’t do it - those numbers are going to stick on you like like feathers on tar. Get ready for your pro day, and use those numbers. You go out and run a 40 not being able to pump your arms like you’re supposed to and put up a ****** time, it’s going to be hard to live that one down and that’s going to stick in the scouts minds.
No worries, da Patriots have already targeted him in da draft.
Ha ha, we were watching the FSU game and my son, who was a pretty good slot in HS said, "He'll be making millions of dollars with the Patriots in a couple years."No worries, da Patriots have already targeted him in da draft.
