Powell is a stud, but the derp is strong with you........
What position does Sony play again?
Also while Powell is very versatile the WR tag is kinda just an add on. I didn't see many impact play on his senior reel at that position.

naw he lines up out wide alot for deerfield. They have another legit back Aaron Mcneal i believe his name is and they lined him up at rb and gave alot of carries to him. Powell would run routes etc and do his thing. Like i said kid is just a playmaker, NEVER like Never comes of the field. Powell would break a 45-50 yd run and go to the huddle and get the rock right again...Sony Michel might break one and go to the sidelines and get a wipe down, 30 minute massage envy session, jamba juice run, and a 10 minute nap before you see him again.

(jokes, i like michel as a prospect)
 
Serious question... Has anyone ever seen a recruit decommit from a school then commit to them again??? None that I could remember
 
Hopefully he just wants to see the UT "hostesses" again for another round of Rocky Top before he returns home to stay.


Even if we get Cook, Yearby and Sony, we still want Powell in this class.

Powell is a much more athletic Dallas Crawford. He's a warrior and a very smart dude on top of his great skills. Must get.

Regardless of Cook, I still want Powell in the class. He didn't hype up his commitment. Just went about his business. Otherwise we would probably be talking about it a lot more.
 
Brandon Powell needs to be in this class so Cook can move to defensive back once errr IF he and Sony Michel commit.

To be fair, I think a lot of our posters never really got to "know" Brandon Powell during the recruiting process. He was committed to Tennessee than seemed to switch to UM without much fanfare. He's been sort of under the radar as far as recruiting *coverage* goes.

That said, for the people who've seen him, to a person, they rave about his athletic ability.

BEAST...best rb in broward and i called it since LAST YEAR.

One of those guys you just cant keep off the field as they produce whenever their on and at whatever position. He's a better Dallas Crawford who did work for us this yr. I take those guys everytime.
