I am not sure if you are serious or not, but as much as I hate Al I do believe this to be true...except for being able to beat Urban. His style of football would fit a lot better at Wisconsin than it does Miami. I live in Wisconsin so I see a lot of games and I truly believe that. The other upside is that Wisconsin has had a lot of success recruiting the Northeast in the past and we all know that Al is very connected in those parts. It may be a win-win for both parties!!!

Exactly, all Alvarez has to do is get the best Offensive Coordinator that big Red MONEYed Nebraska can get, and they have a dynasty in the making.

It's just too bad that UM does not have the money to afford the best Coordinators out there. I think that Al Golden is by far the best BOSS & CEO UM has ever had. If he didn't win more games, he has tremendous command of the media, and that will serve Wisconsin the best. He'll also be the best face of the program; just get the man the best coordinators, and Wisconsin will be contending year and after year. Mack Brown did not really coach at Texas, he just the best paid coordinators and he got a National Championship out of that, and so Can Al Golden at Wisconsin with their big dollars.

Golden is a good fit, and would win there. Be a good hire for them. Good coach, poor fit at UM.
