brad kaaya comments

Y’all are blaming one guy in Kaaya for the fault of a bunch of other people. He wasn’t perfect but he was good enough in some of those games to win.

Same goes for Jarren on Saturday. Did he miss open guys and take too many sacks? Yes. But if the other mistakes hadn’t been made, Enos’ presser goes from he didn’t do enough and it’s on him to, he wasn’t perfect but he did enough.

ESPN headlines go from “UF escapes Miami,” to “Freshman QB Williams plays mistake free ballgame, along with a great Defense, leads Miami to shocking upset.” Followed by a bunch of pundits talking about is Jarren the next great Miami QB?

Fairly or unfairly wins and losses change the narrative on QBs

You guys need to go back and watch some of the games Dorsey actually played. He was a great person, teammate, and leader--all of which matter at QB--but was an awful passer. If he's not throwing to all-time greats, behind an all-time great LT, with all-time greats at RB, he would have been worse than Rosier because he rattled easily and could not move. Dorsey threw wounded ducks that were often off target where the receivers adjusted and made great plays, which made him look great when he was not. He had an under 60% career completion percentage for Pete's sake, throwing to shockey, winslow, Andre, Santana, Roscoe, Reggie, Portis, Najeh, and more!

Agreed. Let’s just leave the past QB’s were they are, in the past and focus on this season. We have potentially a very good one currently in JW15, I’m looking very forward to how he turns it around in Chapel Hill in 2 weeks time versus the Tarheels. I think he has a great bounce back game and leads us to a comfortable victory

Why exactly is everyone mad at Kayaa again?

The guy cane here when he were signing baseball players from Arkansas and hoping they were QBs. He played for fat al and then ran RPOs til his tooth got knocked out during CMRs retirement tour.

Not saying we should build a statue but I just dont get all the hate.

dorsey played in the NFL longer than Kaaya. Dorsey even started games.
Jeff sorgi stuck around in the league for years..some of that is base on politics/relationships..meaning not everyone who has the talent to play in the NFL are currently in the NFL

And 10-3 was the best record we had since what, 2003? I know some don’t care for BK but he did the best he could given who his HC was for 2 of the 3 seasons. Agree that he should’ve come back for his Senior year.
9-4 actually someone corrected me. Forgot losses to VT, ND, FSU, and UNC that year.

I think Brad really should have stayed, he could have cemented the love and respect from Miami.
No benefit to leave early, third round grade,HE HURT US.
He prematurely left early and left us stuck with Malik, yes Malik won10 games and beat Florida st, but Senior year Brad should have been out there, we may have beaten Wisconsin, he could have gotten more seasoning, and possibly had a better draft grade.
With all that being said, he DESERVES The label as SOFT. Felicia’s son is SOFT as cotton.

Brock Berlin had moments and ONE Good SR season..with national title talent around him both years..didn’t win the coastal his last year, let alone a tilte..don’t get it twisted..Brad did not have such talent put around on both sides of the ball..here’s some names Berlin played with
Gore
Taylor
Merriweather
Rolle
Beason
Wilfork
Brown
Braka Adkins
Hester
Parrish
Winslow
Olsen
Rocky
Vilma
Jennings
Winston
Williams
Campbell..and more

Kaaya had

Coley
Duke
Njoku
Herndon
Perryman
Jenkins
Carter
Quan
Willis
Joe jack
Rj

Brock played with a few of the all time greats to ever play here..kaaya had Duke..y’all trippin
And in all fairness to Jacory and Morris, they had waayyyyy less talent when they were behind center!

Waay less then brad??
I’d say that’s about even too. Jacorys biggest problem here was coaching..he had 3 different OCs..Brad the same thing tho..but I think brad made better decisions overall

Please don't use the term " CEMENTED " when discussing Kaaya!

If someone tackled Cook, would we remember his huge games against FSU differently?

Yeah maybe if someone tackled Cook with over 3 minutes left or over 6 minutes left in those games we'd remember those games differently. Maybe we'd remember the 2017 FSU game differently too if someone covered Auden Tate with 1:24 left in the 4th as well.

do me a favor, when it comes to the recruiting board, don't bring up miami treats players like family and that BS. trashing a kid who gave his all to the school is beyond childish. he had the worst defenses in school history for 2 of his 3 years. the year he had some semblance of a D, they went 9-4 and took off once richt changed the O to fit his style
Not a personal shot at you but has it ever occurred to some of you that it was poor performances on the field from our players ( like lack of productivity at the qb position ) that cost us recruits, and not fans on a message board?

And will yall please stop talking about how Kaaya would have lit this UF team up?!!! If Jarren got sacked 10 times UF would have made guinness book on Kaaya's ***!
