People hating on former players who poured their heart out for the team are pathetic.
I wonder if we're the sickest fanbase....been seeing this for years...
on Grassy, Canesport, here......
I'll never forget the hate directed at Butch. He left before the product of his great evaluation and recruiting could be realized. That would've been the best revenge....

I have a feeling that he couldn't wait to get out of Coral Gables with all the criticism he had to endure. I know he got a lot more money, but I have a feeling he felt he was being savaged by the fanbase and/or media.

I have to disagree....JMO....Kaaya would have hit a lot of those open receivers that were running by themselves while Williams held the ball for 6-8 seconds and got sacked.

Williams is gonna be a good one.Hes just not there yet.
Yep
Give him time. He's a work in progress.

Dude had James "halfback pass in the snow" Coley as his OC/QB coach and people dogging him for not overcoming a **** defense and winning more games.

It's mostly people with pathetic lives who badmouth Kaaya. Same group of people delighting in Martell losing out as QB. Makes them deliriously happy to see a young man not achieving his dreams. Kaaya had an awful defense and mediocre OC and a used car salesman for a head coach. Oh, he didn't beat a FSU team that won at least 10 games every season (13 in 2014) featuring Dalvin Cook, who obliterated the defense. Yet in 3 years he broke several passing records at Miami. The critics say Kaaya only went 6-7, 8-5, and 9-4. If our kicker hits an EXTRA POINT, Miami is possibly a 10 game winner and ACC coastal champs. But let's put all that blame on Kaaya if it makes the losers feel better.

And in typical Golden fashion, the offense went into neutral and sat on the lead. He didn’t want to give the ball away and became very conservative

You know if and buts are candy and nuts, BUT he had the lead on FSU twice and the defense couldn't come up for him for at least one of them.

I thought Coley was ok. how many times did he call a great first half game and theN in the 2nd he became conservative?
i blamed Golden for that not Coley.

Not a personal shot at you but has it ever occurred to some of you that it was poor performances on the field from our players ( like lack of productivity at the qb position ) that cost us recruits, and not fans on a message board?

idc if we lose a recruit over message boards or not, im just saying how we (as UM fans) love to say that we have everyones back bc theyre canes or UM is a family and trash UF fans and others for hating on their former players and then do the same. call a spade a spade -- were all the same as fans.

The amount of hate this guy receives from some.....Jesus

**** hath no fury like a CIS poster scorned. Kaaya didn't come back for his senior year, enter the CIS butthurt fury. Also, see Pet-- CIS reporter one day, the next, personally held accountable for Kendrick Norton losing an arm in a car accident.

And will yall please stop talking about how Kaaya would have lit this UF team up?!!! If Jarren got sacked 10 times UF would have made guinness book on Kaaya's ***!

Kaaya had a great internal clock and was quick to release when finding a target. No way he holds the ball with guys breaking open all over the field like Williams did Saturday night. Imo if we played the Turds six weeks from now Williams wouldn't have either.

He wouldn't have been sacked nearly as many times as Jarren.
