Besides the UF vs. FSU game, the game most important to us is the GT bs. Georgia game. If GT wins, everyone from our useless administration to the Goldenites will clamor about how good GT is this year and we shouldn't be ashamed of finishing behind them in the Coastal.

Resist the urge to lose your cool. It's what they want. They don't know any better.

Carry on.

GT is very beatable. So is UGA. Don't let some silly sec east bias taunt you, both of these teams suck and are still light years ahead of us.

I'm not the one that needs this info. Georgia will be seen as some Goliath by people who are clueless, simply because they are in the SEC and in contention for a spot in the SEC championship game. I'm just saying what Golden's supporters and administration might use as their next excuse.

If GT wins this game with their 70 year old offense, it'll just expose an already overrated defensive powerhouse conference

I AGREE! You're missing my point. The people who still stick by Golden won't see it that way. They will use it to bolster their support for him and justify it.

I know, I'm just preemptively trying to stop those idiots before they start.

We can only hope.

First off, the administration obviously doesn't know **** about football if they try to explain away the GT loss on anything other than horrible coaching.

Secondly, how will they explain away Louisville, Nebraska and Virginia?

Nope. What did Golden's PR group have to say?

This is just a small piece of what he told the Herald.

"Regardless of how this season ends, the University of Miami indicated this week that it wants Al Golden to remain the Hurricanes’ football coach, which isn’t a surprise but should end any speculation about the matter. Asked this week whether Golden will return as coach next season, UM athletic director Blake James made clear he will.

“Al is our coach and will continue to be our coach,” James said."

Who knows. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

So bottom line if you're a real Canes fan with any semblance of intelligence you're losing for Miami and GT to lose the rest of the their games this season.

I don't care about GT-UGA. We gift wrapped our game with GT.

All the talk about your opponents accomplishments in order to mitigate your failings is weak. Golden should be judged on how his team performed relative to the talent level of this team.

That's a fail to me and just about everyone else who follows this team.

I would understand the. Sentiment if we would've won out after FSU but given last Saturday's performance that is absolutely retarded
