While there may be worse cities on Earth, Shreveport seems like a pretty poor choice of location for a bowl game -- especially a bowl game where you expect people in Miami to show up.

I was in Shreveport for a wedding recently. I can't emphasize enough how awful that city is. Their downtown is the most depressing thing I've ever seen.

miami is more likely to cancel football with that much of a loss than dish out money to get better
