Au revoir. Mahoney was my first UM home. Between the big asian dude that smoked in the elevator every day, the students who thought pressing the call button for every floor was funny, those plastic wrapped mattresses that you stuck too if your sheet wasn't on right, the suite bathroom with one ******* that stunk the whole day if someone had the beefaroni, it was a dump then, but it was our dump.

I’m sure you remember that Pearson and Mahoney were the choice dorms in our time because we had the 2 room suites with the bathroom in between. How things have changed.

I started out in Eaton the year that it was renovated. That was fun too. Lakeside...

My room was on the second floor overlooking that side entrance as you walk from the University Center.

I lived 7th floor Mahoney spring semester my freshman year 2000. One of the few non football players on the floor. JP lived right across the hall from me. Nicest guy ever. Bryant always had to duck his head walking down the hall to not hit the fluorescent lights

I’m a tripping or was there a hack in the Mahoney elevators where you could hold the floor button where you were going and the close door button and it would just skip every floor?

Not sure about that but when I was there someone took a sharpie and changed the UP button to say CUBA . I was always afraid to push it
