Man, y’all are crazy with the Wilson hate. This DL looks completely different without him on the field, and not in a good way. The drop-off is undeniable.

Hetherman and Taylor are going to ***** this team over if they keep handling the DL and LB situations the way they have been. At some point, you have to start questioning the personnel decisions and what exactly they’re trying to accomplish up front.

Hetherman is corching it up this season, and what some people finally opened their eyes to last night has been happening since Game 1. This isn't a new problem that suddenly showed up last night. It's been there all season, and people are only now starting to acknowledge it.
 
When we got Wilson some were saying he was a fringe 1st rounder and right now he's looking like a day 3 pick,so far 3.5 sacks and 5 total tackles.And he was expensive,Ruffino has said before he doesn't know what miami offered but he knows what LSU did and it was a lot and we offered more.

Missing your entire secondary due to injury and still top 30 in total defense, number 1 against the run, 20th in scoring and 10th in sacks is actually overachieving.
 
Didn’t Wilson make the strip sack that was the one time the defense actually stopped UNC in the 2nd half? If so, then with that 1 play alone he may have saved the season. If we had a loss to UNC and then took an L against ND, it would be very difficult to make the playoffs.

That was Lightfoot. Wilson was rushing from the right edge and was one of the players fighting to recover the ball.

Not really. A two loss Miami with only one conference loss and wins the ACCCG gets a top 4 seen in the tournament regardless.

Miami can lose to ND and lose to one of Duke, Virginia Tech, or Boston College and still go to the ACCCG.

Lightfoot and maybe Scott if Scott dominates down the stretch should even think about leaving early. The rest who have eligibility should come back.
