Blah, blah, blah...Coach Richt can appoint a new offensive coordinator...a new QB coach...and have his selection of the country’s current top college football QB's and not one **** thing is going to change!

Why in the **** people cannot see that Miami's offense is going nowhere until they repair an offensive line that would need a 10 story ladder to climb up on to be just pathetic is beyond me.

Since the days of Andy Gustafson, one could always point to at least one Miami offensive lineman who was good to excellent. Currently, there is not even one lineman that if you held your nose and closed one eye in which you could say that at least he has a heartbeat.

Deejay Dallas and Travis Homer have the hearts of lions and give one thousand percent on each and every play, yet they are on their own when it comes to the running game (much like last year). If those two Cats had just an average offensive line the Canes would be a scoring juggernaut.

Last night’s TV color commentator for the Canes/Cavaliers game, Kelly Stouffer, was imitating a broken record when in an astonished voice kept saying over and over again that Miami’s offensive line was getting NO PUSH!! He was clearly blown away by the lack of talent, athleticism, and heart. Furthermore, the Canes offensive line made Virginia’s defensive front to look like Alabama’s or Clemson defensive fronts, which was one **** of an accomplishment.

If you have a penchant for inflicting pain on yourself take a look at some video of the Texas offensive line and then immediately watch Miami’s version of the Keystone Cops offensive line.

It might help the o line a bit if we stop the zone blocking and start blocking down hill. It’s a lot tougher to get movement blocking side ways. It would mean less shot gun runs.

As far as the fullback dive...it’s gonna be tough to block when they know it’s coming

To say ND or Scaife don't have talent is wrong. Scaife has a lot of heart. Think we need a new coach. One that can teach a la rumph Simpson Dugans.

Makes me long for the days of Kehoe’s Canadians and Lackawanna JuCo’s. Seriously, last night was bad, and sadly, I don’t see it getting appreciably better the rest of the way.

I disagree. Our O-Line is not dominate by any stretch of the imagination so let’s be clear I’m not saying they are BUT having a great playcaller plays to the strength of his personnel. Richt gets paid Millions of dollars to see what’s going on out there and put us in the best position to win. He chose to be the playcaller and I refuse to believe he can’t see what we see but I think he’s too stubborn to change and that’s where the problem lies.

The offense we run is extremely basic and Richt knows we don’t have the best O-Line and yet he INSISTS on running up the middle for the whole first half of every game which surprises nobody. The reason so many of our run plays fail is because they’re the same play and nobody is being caught off guard since we’re predictable. FSU was feasting in our backfield first half and ole Richt just kept trying to run up the middle after seeing it fail countless times.

Is this supposed to be some new revelation? Richt said at the spring luncheon that the OL was his biggest concern.

schematically they are awful and physically they are obviously not able to execute what is being asked of them. This is all on Richt and the oline coach. Their offensive line has been dominated from the get go. Until we start blocking people it doesn't matter who lines up at QB, RB, WR or TE

People blaming the offensive line are silly. Yes, the offensive line could have played better running the ball, but in terms of pass pro they played very, very well, which makes the performance in the passing game even scarier.

You’re a ****** that’s keeps taking the focus off the guy paid 4 million a year to not have a god awful ol/offense.

What’s funny is the offense has recruited circles around the d yet the d has a top five unit.

Now F off.

Stop blaming the coaches? they are the paid professionals that keep rolling out the same scheme week in and week out, year in and year out. The players obviously can't execute it. I do agree there are a lot of mediocre players on the line but nothing is ever schemed to help them so they constantly get their *** kicked.

I owe you a sincere apology as I thought I watched the 2018 Miami versus Virginia football game where the team with a 'U' on their helmets saw their quarterback pressured on almost every passing play, if not sacked.
