Or jake spavital from West VirginiaYost, Briles, or bust
You know what I mean, man. Let’s not argue semantics. I meant we need to hire somebody who has already proved they can lead a high-powered offense on a big stage. That’s why Hugh Freeze is number 1 on my list. I would also like going after somebody like Yost, but we haven’t seen what he could do in a Power 5 conference yet, so the fear of the unknown exists.Yes, we need "a big name". Don't give a fawk if he would be good or not as long as he has a big name.
I love Yost. I think he would be a great hire, but the fact of the matter is we don’t know how he would perform in a Power 5 conference.Dont need a big name. David yost at utah state has the #11 offense and is a finalist for the broyles award. The guy is making just over 100k there. Can easily throw 500-600k at him and still have money to get a good o-line coach.
Bobo was smart enough not to follow Mork to Miami.
So they pulled a MiamiBobo aint getting fired. They gave him a extension and dont think csu has that type of money for a buyout.
If any of those 3 were hired, all the negativity surrounding the program would instantly stopOr jake spavital from West Virginia
Pool together? LOL. You guys act like UM needs to search for coins under couch cushions. The money’s there. Always has been.Barry Jackson’s article said we could pool together over 1 million for an OC. If that’s the case, going after a big name is paramount.

If he gets fired it won't workout well! What it does mean that he bit off more than he could chew. Know your limits! He went from OC at Ga to head Coach at CSU, so it worked very well for him.
Well I got lazy as I didn't know much about him and didn't want to research aka google him...but I definitely stand by my statement on Yost and Briles.Spavital got fired at Texas AM because he sucked. WVU always has a good offense under Hologram, and with Grier at QB you’d have to be Rick to fck it up.
Agreed. We have the money; the only question is, do we have a commitment to excellence? History so far says no, but maybe this shytshow with Richt has turned the tide.Pool together? LOL. You guys act like UM needs to search for coins under couch cushions. The money’s there. Always has been.
Everyone’s so shocked by that Barney Jackson article. The Legend’s been telling you for a hundred years that we have scratch and that we will absolutely fork it out.

Don’t get me wrong...if we hired him, I’d be elated. But my #1 is Hugh Freeze.
No clue who CMR would hire if he gave up play calling.
But the selection will tell us all a great deal about his available resources and direction of the program.
And you're stupid to think he would leave a HC job to be a OC
