Agreed. It would be foolish for any school intent on winning and competing to bring him in and pay him at that level.

Dabo understands the landscape, he's just too stubborn to swallow his pride and admit he was wrong about his approach. Like you said, Saban saw it and made the choice to leave, Dabo's pride has crippled him and Clemson.

He was interviewed on a High school football segment local radio station. Among many things he said he was solid with Georgia and why.

There is also a rumor his broda is being traded by the Dolphins

Anyway.. hope we still get him

Gaby made it seem like he's starting to trend Georgia now or at least still having discusisons and less of a lock to commit here as of today
 
Honestly if UGA came calling as a safety it’s hard to ignore even if we’re winning. UGA safeties who start are making the league.

we have Deon Bush, Kam Kitchens, Rayshawn Jenkins starting at Safety now, .. am I missing anyone?
Jaquan made a couple rosters, but he's out now.

and UGA almost ruined Tyrique Stevenson's career by trying to force him to be a safety,

UGA only puts more in the NFL because they get more talent. They are not better at developing it. Actually with the amount of 5stars they get, you could argue they worse at developing it

Seriously? Malachi Starks, Javon Bullard, Kamari Lassiter, Tykee Smith, Tyson Campbell, and Eric Stokes all start and that’s not including the bench guys and the busts like Lewis Cine. And your answer is Kam? I back us a million times on this board but we don’t compare anymore in the DB department with the big boys and we’re years behind.

half of the guys you listed are CBs...
Tyrique Stevenson, DJ Ivey and Mike Jackson are in the league.

The point is that "UGA safeties who start are making the league." is a chatagorically false statement. And our safeties are balling out in our system. One could argue that Poyser, Jakobe, Scott and Fitzgerald are collectively playing better than any other group in the country right now.

No they aren’t. Tykee, Javon, and Malachi are primarily safeties and Kamari is a nickel that takes reps at safety as well. Cine was a safety and there’s other bench guys that are safeties as well.

Don’t tell me about who’s on campus now. They aren’t in the NFL yet.
