Dude I lived SC for 7 years, so I know not everywhere is like that. I also know that the overall political environment of the state leans heavily towards holding onto the past.

As a local politician in SC, I disagree. There are towns like that in every state below the mason dixon. They’re dwindling every year though, thankfully. I grew up in Miami and have lived all over the US. SC is a good state, with some fun cities, and a lot of good people.

Thats an oil and water situation. Auburn would be looking for another coach in 3 years if they tried that experiment.

I do have a buddy that is a donor for them. Owns 4 restaurants in the Greenville area. He has told me that Dabo is rubbing a lot of big money guys the wrong way with his refusal to adapt. You might be right about him looking around, but there's a movement that would be fine if he left too.

At this point, the only reason why anyone would want Dablo is for name recognition only. Who would hire someone this behind the times? At least Saban saw this coming and got out, Dablo is going to find out real quick what happens when you don't evolve your thinking and adapt to the current landscape.
