With Clemson struggling, Miami is working multiple flips. I think there is more traction with S Blake Stewart (Atlanta, GA) than OC Grant Wise (Pace, FL). Stewart remains an extremely high priority at safety.​

The Bye Week is a work week when it comes to recruiting. Here is the latest:

- Javian Mallory (West Boca) is locked in at running back, but the Canes are looking to stack talent. One name to keep an eye on: Atlanta four-star Amari Latimer. The Wisconsin commit is having an outstanding senior season and the folks in the Hecht have noticed:

Don't even act like Sainteus, who is the 1,400th ranked player, is worth getting excited about. Before him, our last commitment was 3 months ago.
We should never lose a recruit to Vandy or North Carolina. But what can we do? Nothing but sit and watch
Soon, we'll hear about how we've given up on getting flips and decided to save funds for the portal. It's as predictable as it is disappointing.

You ever think that this was leaked on purpose to force the kids hand? I mean it’s not like Vandy’s GM Barton Simmons wasnt 247 lead recruiting analyst in his previous job.
 
"Blake Stewart has backed off of his Clemson commitment. The Atlanta based safety took a secret visit to Miami for the Louisville game. There has been confidence regarding the Hurricanes standing in that recruitment to that point, but the Vandy247 site then reported Stewart made it to Nashville for the Missouri game. Zac Etheridge has been working this one for quite some time. I would keep a very close eye on this one." - Gaby 247

Secret visit to us (though horrible game) has me a little optimistic but just feels like a kid who won’t be here despite all our efforts
