We have repeatedly bashed Blake james and the BOT of trustees for not caring football. Well, we've seen who was behind all of that and now that shes gone were paying more than we ever have to catch up with college football. I dont understand the need to keep bashing james. He hired a big time coach, gave him competitive money for a staff, and is now staying out of the way. Im all for bashing if theres merritt but there isnt any at the moment.

Logic won't stop the agenda folks. There's nothing to understand here, some people are just dumb and stuck in their position.

Miami wasn't firing Golden after winning 9 games in 2013 no matter how the season finished. Very few programs would do so especially one on probation. James was ready to dismiss Golden after the 2014 season but he didn't have the support.

I brought up Jeremy Foley because he's the best in the business. He has more resources and Bull Gators are less tolerant than Golden Canes. Even Foley wasn't throwing Zook or Muschamp under the bus although the Bull Gators were going crazy.

We played KSU and ND in 2012. In 2013 we played no difficult OOC game (UF was 4-8). 9 wins means nothing when you play chit and have the same conference record.

Foley has the power to act whenever. He is not a puppet in anyway.

Jeremy Foley can't act independently without approval. He has a lot much discretion because the guy's been at Florida in same capability for 30 years, but he still answers to the President of the university.

What about Penn State? Nobody knows if Golden was a serious candidate, whether he was contacted, whether he interviewed or whether he had real interest. Coaches get contacted all the time. If Golden was talking to his alma mater, that's hardly surprising. I wish Penn State would have offered and he would have accepted. He would have done us a huge favor Frank Haith-style. He wasn't getting fired after the 2013 season and I'm not sure what AD would have fired him. He earned the right to get fired after 2014. Just wasn't going to happen until the new President got on board. I know for a fact they were passing this **** on to the next President.

Had Richt decided to step away from the game after parting ways with Georgia, Blake was ready to settle on Greg Schiano, another New Jersey douche bag whose entire head coaching career has been made beating inferior teams while losing to anyone with a pulse. That's precisely what Folden was coming out of Temple.

While his defense is light years better than Folden's, he would have been a nightmare hire and, apparently, was squarely in the mix.

I'm with everyone that Shalala was the primary problem, but I'm still not sold on James as an AD.
