Why does everyone think this is a personal attack. He is congratulating Vince Wolfork who is a pretty good supporter of THE U and is always around the program. Vince is a Champion and he is proud to be a cane the message is nothing more or nothing less.
Ok but Vince left 10 years ago he may very well have won the super bowl and I am happy for him. But my point is The U is not building champions if we are going 6-7 and making zero changes...
Understand that..... I am an alum.... not happy with performance of team either but the AD's job is more then the record of the football team. Academics of student-athletes and prep for after college life. Vince excelled in both as far as I can tell and is involved with the program. The tweet is referring to that not anything else. People surely do not understand that UM is not a pro team. We have a pro mentality fan base that could care less about anything else. Right, wrong or indifferent thats the way it is. Does not mean the AD is wrong or personally insulting anyone
He retweeted Tim Reynolds and added " The U is #buildingchampions." Doesn't sound like he is congratulating Wilfork but trying to link Miami to a SB champion to push his stupid "building champions" slogan. Unfortunately for him, no one is buying it. His regime as AD and the current coaching staff has NOTHING to do with Wilfork's success. The fact of the matter is, if someone like Wilfork, Sapp, Maryland or Kennedy were recruits right now, they wouldn't come to Miami to play in this system, and if they did, they wouldn't have the same succes at Miami. So **** him and **** you if you're ok with this clown trying to capitalize on ex players success from previous coaching staffs.
