Blake Baker.

Wouldn't Muschamp bring some much needed intensity/fire to the defensive side of the ball? Compare Muschamp's persona to Baker.
We don’t need a clown show. Last time The Champ was a DC, he drew two 15 yard penalties in one game and had to be pulled off the field by his shirt. That’s a gimmick not good coaching. It’s all about Will putting on a show. No thanks.

A DC doesn't need to split atoms or be a Mensa member, but they do need to instill discipline, toughness and energy into their units. Don't know Muschamp well enough regarding the discipline part, but as far as toughness and energy, I think he's got those covered. A D will reflect the personality of its leader. I don't think that's 100% true of an OC, but it's absolutely true of CFB DC's.

Along with Baker's many faults, his biggest might be the lack of an aggressive, Alpha personality for his players. A D needs this. If Muschamp can instill, energy, toughness, discipline and recruiting, I think we're the perfect place for him. He comes and dominates the Coastal and takes off after 2-3 seasons.

Of course, I still prefer Strong, but any one of these would do it, I think: Strong/Muschamp/Steele.

Everyone talks about ST improvements but most of that is on the backs of lou and Jose's talent. Tell me our net KO return and how many flags we had. Tell me how many muffed Punts we had.

Sure, patke may be able to coach LBs but his lack of recruiting ability and his ****** ST coaching is a liability

Yup. Tell me how he fixed Baxa the yr before

Not that I'm an expert on Muschamp's behavior, but he did seem to tone it down a bit when comparing his last stop at USCE to his time at UF.

Well, the Auburn incident was between UF and SC.

I think Muschamp is a clown who is all about himself and hasn’t been involved with good defense in years. I’d stay away from that. Look what he did in his last game as DC at Auburn. It was a disgrace. That’s not passion or coaching hard. That’s a self absorbed clown putting the spotlight on himself. No thanks.
