Did they really making a whole article saying how agressive and good at recruiting Baker is because he is talking to a top 100 player committed to Georgia and got him to official at LSU? And then they go on to say that LSU will probably not be able to flip him, but that doesn't matter, since he talked to the kid he's an ace recruiter ?

Exactly. Except it didn't say he was an ace recruiter. Just "aggressive". Which can also read "desperate". Whole thing is just a fluff piece for a guy who hasn't done cr@p.

Baker was underwhelming as a DC here. The D always looked immediately better when Manny took over from him. Didn't seem to motivate his players to play that hard or tough. Wasn't a great recruiter. Actually can't believe LSU hired him. IMHO they could have done better.

Both of the months that Blake Baker has been at LSU have been super refreshing for them as a staff. So far, Baker hasn't stolen from a single Children's Hospital nor has he used his position of authority to convince any staffers to sleep with him.
