I like Gus, but i understand everyone frustration with a big powerful guy running soft........ ion think they hating just tough love

I've gotta put myself in this camp as well. I dont hate any kid who chooses to sign with UM but Ive simply never seen anything from Gus Edwards that would lead me to believe he can be a productive back against the top teams on our schedule.

Same can be said for Mark Walton. Mark Walton ran for 150 times last year and didn't have a run over 29 yards Gus the bus has had multiple runs over 30 yards on a limited amount of carries

I do NOT share that opinion. For one, Walton was a true freshman last year and could very well have still been in high school. You may remember he chose to reclassify up a year. Moreover, last year's team was a write off (cue the Cosmo Kramer voice ) due to the whole coaching debacle. Gus Edwards always seemed to get off against the Savannah States and FAU's of the world but never did much against the top half of the schedule.

Again, Im hopeful that @BleakVern will finally get something right .... Im just not optimistic that this is it.
