LoL, we were in white cleats and white socks for the 1989 game. I'm almost positive we didn't go with black cleats until 1991.

This. The black cleats/socks desire is so silly. Guess what we wore in 89? White cleats and white socks! Guess what we wore in 83 for out first title? White cleats and white socks! Guess what we wore in 87 before lifting Jimmy on the shoulders and hoisting another natty? White cleats and white socks. I'm a younger canes fan, but people that demand black cleats and black socks show blatantly they don't pay attention to Miami's uniform history.
