BILLBOARD FULLY FUNDED

Awful choice of font and unneeded call out of BOT.

Should say:

UM Football
16 Years and0 ACC titles
Fire Blake James

Blake James hasn’t been athletic director for those entire 16 years.

The BOT deserve to be held accountable.

And if they fire James we can always take the billboard down. But BOT are very much a target of this campaign

And maybe when YOU give the school millions of dollars, you'll have a say in this.

But we both know that won't happen. You'll just have entitlement about a University because you bought a hat that one time.

A billboard doesn’t cost millions of dollars.

And since we live in America, putting up a sign picketing against institutionalized idiocy is our right of free speech.

I swear, some of you act like you just got off the boat and you think it’s a crime to criticize powerful people. It doesn’t work that way over here, buddy.

Nice Starter jacket, by the way. I had one too, in 1994.

$7,000 and not a single mention of Manny Diaz on the billboard. Also won’t it to go up in a few months making it worthless?

Clearly, you're not a marketing specialist.

Positive publicity is a really good thing - especially if it's more or less free publicity. This encourages more of the same.

Negative publicity comes in many forms - but by definition - it's PUBLIC and it's NEGATIVE.

A billboard - placed near the University - which is not cheap - and funded by fans - will have an immediate impact on the UM administration. The Admin won't like it - it's embarrassing. It gets their attention whereas most of their dumbasss decisions are never noted.

BOT members won't like it - it points out something maybe they missed, or should address - to end this crap.

Last of all - the public in Miami - they're maybe already aware that something is wrong with a six-win record - but now it's being pointed out exactly who's fault this is. Then, they talk. When the city starts talking - when it's right out there in front of God and everybody - the Admin knows this will not go away - people are putting their money where their mouths are.

They'll recall the banners. And they really don't want that again. More embarrassment. More national embarrassment.

Remember this one thing: The squeaky wheel is the one that gets the grease.
This is why a billboard isn’t a bad idea. It might be painful, but it will net the results everyone wants. The school will be forced to invest the time, energy and money necessary into winning football games. Winning makes them hero’s and the billboard goes away.
