Bill Belichick is a worse coach than Dave Wannstedt

This is the dumbest thread on this platform and it's no surprise given the OP.

Edit: And I don't give a ****. Come at me. I'm locked and loaded for this one. Cause it's the dumbest discussion fed by ******* troglodytes who need a lesson bad.
It’s one of the dumbest football narratives ever

Notice how the first post had nothing but numbers.

The responses have nothing but insults and conclusions. Because the other side has nothing.
Because this doesn’t deserve an actual conversation lol..Its that stupid. Saying the other side has nothing while cherry picking a HC wins when he has 6 championships is just something everyone should just laugh about. Your entire view on this is just rooted in not understanding football enough

Whoever wants to find out what's actually up, with the nuance and the correct historical context, my DMs are open.

As for everything else, now knowing how this **** rolls, my respect for everyone in here has shrunk to zero kelvin. And if people are unaware as to what zero kelvin means, zero kelvin is the lowest theoretical temperature possible.

It's fun knowing that deciding figures will mention my heritage by any means possible whenever it seems to fit their narrative. I'll remember that one.

The Browns were 3-13 the season Belichick turned over. The roster was old, broken and needed a rebuilt. Belichick went 11-5 with them and was a Super Bowl contender before Art Modell decided to move due to debt.
Modell didn’t move out of Cleveland over debt, he was butt hurt that the Indians got Jacob’s Field, before the Browns got a new stadium.

It was a good financial decision by the city. Jacob’s plowed money into the Indians and had the 2nd best record in MLB from the first year of Jabobs Field, for the next 8 years.

The Browns were going to get a new stadium, just not in Modell’s timeline. The Browns had no problem selling out Municipal Stadium, but it was a horrible venue for the Indians by that point.

Modell stupidly fired Schottenheimer, and went from 4 straight playoff appearances and 2 AFC Championships to averaging just over 6 wins a season the 6 years before moving, because of Modell’s poor HC hires and not spending any money on the team.

Ironically, it was Ozzie Newsome as GM (who played on those 80’s Browns teams) that drafted Ray Lewis and that defense, that gave Modell a Super Bowl.

Wannstedt coached the Bears and the Jay Fiedler Dolphins. He never had a QB.

Belichick inherited Bernie Kosar and Drew Bledsoe. He botched Kosar and lost with Bledsoe. This is because he's a bad coach without Brady.
Wanny's problem was he didn't respect the value of the QB position as an executive. With the Dolphins Wanny had final vote on personnel. He decided to take Jamal Fletcher instead of Drew Brees. And so began the past 25 years of Dolphin suck.

Ill play ball since dmoney think he’s making a good point about something lol. Explain these @DMoney

I don’t get this level of meltdown.

Wannstache sucked. I hated him. I thought he was a caveman’s caveman. Epitomized mediocrity. Ruined Ricky Williams (although Ricky is no innocent victim).

Belichick sucks for other reasons. He’s an unlikeable curmudgeon who 100% made a career out of a lucky draft pick. I’m not sure how many and I’m not gonna do the research, but I certainly know it’s uncommon for overlooked 6th rounders to become (true) generational players. Belichick has loads of scandals and is a clown show with his great granddaughter ball washing “girlfriend.” He’s a complete douche bag. Many (not most) Pats fans would even admit most of this is true. All of that said, he was the man at the helm for decades, playing in multiple Super Bowls and usually winning when he didn’t play New York. He orchestrated and engineered different squads over many years, revolutionizing the way teams handle draft capital and roster management relative to the salary cap.

Wannstache did NONE of that. Nothing remotely close to that.

Cherry picking some stats in order to create 8.1 million posts and counting is kind of lame @DMoney , but going on a premenstrual angry and unhinged arrogant meltdown while offering your DM mailbox to those who disagree in between emotional retorts and name calling is a really poor look @Bender. I’m qualified to make these statements because I’ve been guilty of doing this.

About 95% accurate, Modell had accumulated debt high enough that he couldn't pay it off. Hence the sale of

Modell accumulated enough debt to sell a 49% share after moving the team to Baltimore. It's understandable that a city didn't agree to build a new stadium with someone who couldn't pay off his debt.

The move in itself was so egregious, Cleveland was promised millions in damage and an expansion franchise.

You can write me personally and find out the truth or you can leave it.

I refuse to debate on here given the circumstances that have been aforementioned. It's either on the same level or it ain't. End of.
