Biggest Win since '01 Natty??

Yes. And the flip side, if we lose, we’ll know for sure that the SEC has passed up Miami for good, and that the most we can ever hope for is the garbage coastal.

So much on the line. The whole future of Miami is in play.

We not beating them bruh but if we can recruit top level guys we can pass them. If they keep stacking it will be status quo. We need at least 8 Leonard Taylor types a class to pass them.

Oh you’re right it all comes down to recruiting but imo this game is do or die.

If I’m Manny, I’m spiking the Gatorade with Winstrol, deer antler spray, whatever. I’m stealing signs. Deflating balls. Whatever.

I don’t care what they got to do, lie steal cheat whatever, just find a way to win, some kind of way.

Exactly. We are playing a far more talented team, with better coaches. A loss here is not the end. We just have to keep stacking talent until the talent disparity is not so big. Realistically, the only way we are winning this one is if King has the game of his life. I'm talking like a Vince Young vs USC type performance.
 
If we lose, then it's not a big deal. It's expected and we go on to tackle our conference and gin for Clemson.

But if we win...

Bama's got a lot more on the table than we do.

I said this game was lost when MR stepped down and we hired Diaz I always said this game was the death of the program. Diaz started hitting the trail hard last cycle a year late. He is doing better in recruiting than the last coaches....but I think it was too late for this game. No depth lost this game....and bama wants to humiliate us. I don't see how we walk away with a w. If we do holy fuq

If we keep getting monsters and not let bama Chery pick sfla we will win. If they keep doing it we fuqed....u weaken every team if u cherry pick home grown studs. U weaken their roster for years then and only then they will start to decline slowly.

Yeah. But if we’re willing to go the extra step I think we can win. Alabama practiced at greentree for the national title game. We **** sure better have all their signs. If we didn’t put some spy **** up, like hidden nanny cams on every **** corner…well just saying there’s a will then there’s a way.

And when Clemson beat them the first time Bama had way more talent but remember they found steroids on like half the top players after the game….just saying there’s ways to even out the odds if we’re willing to go to certain lengths

Bama is the type of team that we used to be. U can know what's coming and they are going to will it with the talent. Coker won I mean c'mon anyone can HC talent like that. They are the machine they are going to run right at us. There recruits come jacked like Bo Scarborough

True but everybody can be broken. ****… Ohio State got us in 2002, nevermind the PI flag, it should never been that close to begi. And that was a much less version of ohio state than they are today after urban got them rolling in recruiting.

We don’t know about Alabama until we know, **** they could be 2001 Miami or they could be 2005 Miami, you never know.
Maybe Bryce Young ends up being garbage and he comes out throwing 5 picks, you never know for sure

They got us cause they also had high end talent as well. That was the only way someone was going to challenge us. We got robbed though. I went through bamas roster and they are loaded
 
If we win the recruits do not automatically come. ESPN will call it a fluke and that Bama lost too many First rounders and will be back by the end of the season. Win or lose we need to prove ourselves vs VT and UNC to get better recruits.

This game has the potential to be BYU Miami 1990 where this Miami team is playing as BYU vs a Bama team that has been so good for so many years that the young guys have never been hit in the mouth for 4 quarters. If we win it does not mean Bama is out. They could easily win the national title the next season with these same young guys playing tomorrow.

Agreed. UCLA was a great win, but the 1999 Canes went 9-4. Including a loss to East Carolina.

The most impressive thing about beating UCLA was the game was a week after the 66-13 loss at Syracuse. The team could have folded but didn’t.
 
We weren't 18 pt underdogs in that natty. If we win tomorrow it might the biggest victory since we beat FSU in 2000 (assuming Bama is the real deal and ends up in the Top 5 despite losing to us.). You could even argue that it might be the greatest victory since the 83 natty.

It wasn't the UCLA Win....beating Defending NC FSU in 2000 was wayyyy bigger...and to be quite honest, it wasn't one singular game that set up 2001...it was Butch & Staffs Grade A evaluations and recruiting which deserves the honor...
