Biggest Coastal Rival

The Noles are by far our biggest ACC rival, but who does everyone consider as our biggest Coastal rival? While beating Duke was good, it's hard for a lot of us to get all that excited about it.

I would have to go with Virginia Tech. Miami leads the series 18-13. They always seem like the biggest obstacle. Nothing like FSU of course.

Guess I might be the only one that doesn't consider VT a 'rival' per se.


And if beating us makes a team our 'rival' then **** near every FBS team we've played over the last 10 years is a rival.

VT, mainly just because of the Big East days. I don't consider any of the other Coastal schools "rivals", they're just basic division opponents.

Personally , I would choose UVA. They have single handedly ruined a ton of **** for me.

Virginia Tech.. We brought them with us from the Big East.

They have the best coach and have been consistently successful for a long time. If outside of FSwho you don't worry about this team the most every year you're crazy.

None. ACC needs to move VTech to the Atlantic or whatever and move FSU to the Coastal.

Atlantic: GT, Clemson, Louisville, Pittsburgh, Syracuse, VTech, Wake

Coastal: Duke, FSU, BC, Miami, UNC, NCST, UVA

Cross-division rivals:

FSU-Clemson
Miami-Louisville
UVA-Vtech
Duke-Syracuse
UNC-Wake
BC-Pitt
GT-NCST

Or something like that. We've had a raw deal on the alignment since we joined this POS conference.

Some of the bigger dolts might not consider VT a rival, but VT and Beamer hinge their entire existence on beating us. That's a fact. It's their path to the Coastal title, especially given they dont play FSU every year.

If there is one in the Coastal, it's VT. I don't really consider anyone in the ACC much of a rival except FSU.

One would think VT but we seem to be capable of losing to anyone, so really hard to say now.
