It's amazing he actually has some national endorsements deals now. I think what may hurt his HOF chances is that NG is often-overlooked but I get the sense that getting the endorsement of guys like Belichick and being on a lot of winning teams will help his cause

If Im not mistaken, I believe this leaves Gore as the last remaining player from the 2001 team playing in the league

I would've thought so too but in the last couple years we had a punter and a kicker get into the Hall of Fame so I have tentative confidence that the voters are starting to get with the times a little bit and give appreciation to some overlooked positions.

Man, FOH to anybody who think otherwise that the 2001 Canes ain't the GOAT. Forget how many pro bowlers that squad produced, Gore, Reed, AJ, Wilfork all going to the HOF. How many college teams produce 23 draft picks within the 1st 100 players taken, 38 draftees overall, 17 1st rounders, 13 pro bowlers, 7 SB champions, and 4 future HOFers? And we already know, had injuries not derailed Shockey's career, and ST not had his life taken so soon, we'll be talking about 6 HOFers, on one squad!

Salute to Big Vince; you've fallen right in line w our HOF legacy of DTs. Cant wait to see my guy's acceptance speech.
