Better job, LSU or UF

LSU by a Mount Everest mile.

UF has been a dead job since Urby faked his death & left town.

LSU has carte blanche for the best Louisiana talent, they get premium Texas, Mississippi-Delta prospects regularly. And they've forged pipelines into Florida throughout the years.

They get the best WR's & some of the best CB's right in their backyard, plus have an unlimited War-chest for NIL.

They're apart of the Big 3 of the SEC.

UF is a bottom rung program on par with Arkansas, Miss ST, Kentucky, Auburn, South Car etc..

Their Basketball program far exceeds their Football.
What school would you say has more money for Lane, UF or Ole Miss? Having a dispute with a Gata

LSU is probably a better job but with the meddling going on with the governor right now that's going to be a tough situation to walk into.

How could it be a top three job if you have to live in Louisiana?

It is a premier program but not close to top 3. I would say closer to 8-12 range. Especially once the NIL system catches up in other large schools there will be a shift in elite status.
You can have that opinion. It’s not correct, but you’re allowed to have it

I think they're about even, only difference is with UF you have to recruit against Miami, and FSU. LSU is the only big in state school. as much as I hate Florida, if they get the right coach that gets them rolling they'll be super annoying on the recruiting trail. Either way they both can be considered a top 5 job, with great resources. (Lane Kiffin at Florida would be annoying as ****)

I don't disagree with any of this, but getting the "right" coach seems to be their issue.

It depends on which school you want to fire you. Both teams are rebuilds in the eyes of expectations. Sure, there is talent, but the fans want you to win it all within 4 seasons. I would go to the school with the longest terms for the contract. Get the axe within 5 years and retire comfortably.

LSU is the better job. All the nonsense around it right now is media driven and wont impact it in the long run
i dont think the governor doing a press conference effectively firing the AD is media driven. they did it to themselves. now the Interim AD is hiring the new coach? LOL its a **** show there

Before Kelly. LSU's previous 3 HCs all won a title. They were at the top of the SEC along with Bama for years. Easier state to recruit with elite talent. I really dont think its close between the two.

Is the better job imo
