Sure they do. Coker was 23-0 at one point.
3rd and 1 our dbs are 10-15 yards deep or back of end zone . golden coaches scared and deserves being a loser of a coach

No. They don't lie. Coker was the right man for the team at that time. His national title and record prove it.

In this case, it proves Butch was the right man. When his players left and Clappy had to recruit and coach.....that's his true numbers. #BBB
Best, worst college football coaches in close games from each conference - CBSSports.com

Best: Jimbo Fisher, Florida State (8-4, .667). Fisher wrote the book last season on how to win close games, going 7-0 in one-possession contests. That's an absurdly high single-season rate. With Jameis Winston now gone, there's nowhere to go but down for Fisher in close games. Still, Fisher has won 10 straight one-possession games, with the last loss coming against North Carolina State in 2012.
Worst: Al Golden, Miami (11-12, .478). To be fair, Golden's mediocre success rate in close games can be partially attributed to starting his career at Temple and inheriting NCAA sanctions at Miami. Will more scholarship depth help Miami win tight games, or is this who Golden is as a coach?
jimbo got a huge boost from jamies before that he was losing to nc state, wake, & va
Al is 1-3 against UVA. Mike London has more than 1 career win versus three teams : Richmond, VMI, and MIAMI.

Didn't he also have a 10 win season with E.J. Manuel as qb? Meanwhile, we have a MUCH better qb in Brad Kaaya and if we reach 10 wins, it'll be nothing short of a miracle.
I think Miami is the one and only non-Division 2AA on Mike London menu of the twice-eaten.What a slam dunk indictment!Al is 1-3 against UVA. Mike London has more than 1 career win versus three teams : Richmond, VMI, and MIAMI.
This. The biggest myth is that jimbo wasn't winning before Winston. Having a qb like Winston helps you get to that next level like winning the national championship, but pre Winston jimbo was doing well and improving.Pre-Jameis Winston FSU:Best, worst college football coaches in close games from each conference - CBSSports.com

Two 10 win seasons, ACC title in 2012. Won the Coastal in his first year. Finished the season ranked every year.
Meanwhile, in Coral Gables, UM's goal is to win the Coastal in year 5...
