Best defense left on our schedule?

I have a feeling our TEs are going to put up record numbers against Manny.
 
FSU has the best secondary we will face the rest of the year ( regular season)

We will run through their soul and let Cam picking them apart when their Safeties commit to help
 
Knowing Mannys defenses our guys will feast across the middle. Whether it’s a WR or TE. I still have nightmares seeing guys just randomly running free to realize they were left uncovered because of whatever blitz he was sending.

I agree. I believe we will probably out-talent them for sure, and we have definitely enough weapons to counteract Manny’s attack. But their D will be more aggressive than most, and it was something to note. I was surprised their numbers were statistically that high nationally.

It’s definitely Duke. I think they can probably give us a good half of play or so defensively, but I also believe their numbers are a little skewed by the offenses they’ve faced.

The rest of the defenses we play range from mediocre (FSU, GT) to awful (Syracuse, Wake). We’re going to put up some serious points against at least a couple of them.
 
I guess duke, fsu is solid but their offense stinks so much it doesn’t matter

This. I don’t care about any defenses we play. We are gonna score points. We’d score points on any team in the country. Cam is that good and the players around him are that good.

The team that beats us will outscore us. And not like 21-20. If we lose, it’s going to be because someone gets us for 40+. So I don’t care about any defenses. Who are the good offenses?

Here’s a hint: it ain’t fsu. We are gonna smash them. And we’re gonna smash Duke. The next 2 weeks will be routs. GT on the road after fsu and Manny, that one will have my full attention. They can score. Syracuse too. But imo we aren’t losing a game going forward. Louisville was the best offense we play all season. And we just beat them in their building.

GT will be interesting, but only if King plays (currently injured). Their backup Pyron isn't any good. They also run a lot of misdirection and their 3 main guys (starting rb and 2 wrs) all got some speed to them.

Not to mention - we have another bye week after the GT game. So some more time to heal up before that final stretch of Wake/Syracuse/ACCG.

Really got to think if RR/DB might come back post 2nd bye for the last 3 game stretch before the potential playoffs.

I’m sure King will be back for our game so he can light us up.

I tend to think GT is the more likely loss if we are going to drop a game just because of the circumstance, although Cuse will have the more difficult game atmosphere I suppose.

On the other hand, the team is going to spend a week hearing about last years GT game and the meltdown at the end, so I don’t see us looking past them or feeling unmotivated for it.
