I think I agree with this. They were relentless. The Duo of Medearis & Patrick were the best in UM History.

Always wondered how we got all those monsters before we started our run.We had a boatload of really good DT's in the 70's. Rubin Carter, Don Latimer, Gary Dunn, Don Smith, Eddie Edwards Bob Nelson, Lester Williams. All had good NFL careers. Edwards, Latimer, Williams and Smith were all 1st round picks.
Rusty Medearis, was one of the most instinctual pass rushers i have ever seen..... tragedy that he blew out his kneeTo say most of our best DLmen were Interior and not exterior is ludicrous....
Ted Hendricks (UMs only 3 Time 1st team AA)
Stubbs
Medearis
Calais Campbell
Kevin ***an
Kenny Holmes
Olivier Vernon
Greg Mark
McDougall
Kenard Lang
Bill Hawkins
Jimmy Jones
Darren Krein.....c'mon man...there's alot more as well....
Top 3-4 favorite Canes for me...and "He" didn't blow his ACL out, someone (intentionally) did it for him.Rusty Medearis, was one of the most instinctual pass rushers i have ever seen..... tragedy that he blew out his knee
I value your opinion- you have seen alot of games. What is your top 5 DL regardless of DE or DT.Top 3-4 favorite Canes for me...and "He" didn't blow his ACL out, someone (intentionally) did it for him.

i vaguely remember against Houston, right ?Top 3-4 favorite Canes for me...and "He" didn't blow his ACL out, someone (intentionally) did it for him.
No it was against Ariziona in '92. Maggot OL intentionally took out his knee. He made a comeback in '94 but it didnt last long.i vaguely remember against Houston, right ?
I'm going to limit myself to only players I've seen play (sorry Hendricks) and pre-2000. It's still so **** hard!
Jerome Brown
Cortez Kennedy
Daniel Stubbs
Rusty Medaris
Russell Maryland
(Could easily put Warren Sapp up there as well.)
We have time for another one before the weekend with hopefully some good news
Top five for me- i am not old enough to see Hendricks so I am not putting him on my list although based upon what i have read he should be #1.
Jerome Brown
Tez
Sapp
Russell Maryland
Stubbs
Honorable Mention- Big Vince
Pretty Amazing looking back how much better our DT have been than our DE.
Harold Allen. Blast from my past. Phenomenal coach.Butch told me numerous times, Sapp's the best Interior DLman he's ever seen at UM, and he was Jerome's DL coach for 3 out of 4yrs (Harold Allen was JBs coach as a Frosh)
Wow just wow.... could easily put Dapp in there lol either you were locked up in prison from 92-94 or you just hate Sapp!!
