Haven't followed his career after the U, sorry to here how messed up his life has been and pray that he has reformed. Still doesn't dismiss the fact that as our QB he was quite good and as I stated, his pre-snap reads were his forte which would benefit an OC. Physically I often wondered who decided he could play QB with his awkward throwing style yet he performed for us. Loved him at the U, a real winner then.

Bernie did very well with the Browns his first four years. He went to three straight AFC Championship games and made two Pro Bowls. He was one of the top NFL QBs dduring that time frame.

If it wasn't for the Byner fumble (walking into EZ) and a miraculous Elway drive...he goes to 2 SBs..

Yeah, that's right. Bernie did his part that's for sure. I think one of those games he threw for a record 500 yards.
