His picture looked liked a douche bag...then the shush to the crowd? His wife wasn’t even that hot...**** him.
Do they even have hot women at UVA? It's not known for that.

he's a senior
so at the very least he's experienced, that a mixed with an unmotivated defense equals great day for the qb
I think our style of defence works best when we are facing inexperienced qb's. We have a lot of moving pieces on D and we constantly bring pressure and call stunts and Gap blitzes with our front 7. If they don't get to the qb and he has the patients to wait for his receivers to find the holes they can be successful. He did a nice job of standing in the pocket and their OC did an even better job of calling plays that moved him away from the pressure.
Good quarterback, but he should not have looked like the next coming of Tom Brady. I mean for fvcks sake...the dude looked like Jesus out there. The soft zone and lack of pressure, though, in the first half, certainly didn't help our case.
It was the lack of pressure in the first half that allowed him to sit in the pocket and pick us apart. His OL should get a lot of credit for that. I was surprised that our DL wasn't getting more penetration in the first half (holding did a play a part in that). Benkert played well in almost all of the film I watched. He destroyed #25 BSU (now 9-2) in their house & UVA won by around 20 points (which is why I was saying this could be a trap game & it certainly looked that way deep into the game). He's simply a very good passer when he has a clean pocket to work in.
I don't agree that it was lack of pressure that led to his 1st half explosion.
It was the scheme that didn't allow our DL any time to get upfield. Go watch the tape.
Kurt Benkert is the most ACC name ever. Y’all ever notice how many random white kids with unusual names play QB against us? I.e. Bryn Renner
If Manny has proved anything this season, it's that it's very hard to get him twice, even for just both halves of the same game. He'll have it fixed.Good quarterback, but he should not have looked like the next coming of Tom Brady. I mean for fvcks sake...the dude looked like Jesus out there. Correct. Despite out success this season, we've somehow managed to make the kid from Toledo, Syracuse, Virginia & even the freshman from UNC (for a while) look like Aaron Rodgers. Maddening at times but I'll take it.
This... Diaz needs a response... Three seconds snaps should have been defended with a nickel coverage, dropping lbs back into coverage, MORE pick 6's... granted, we stopped the run, but it makes for a long day.
Huh? Dungey through 4 picks and had less than 150 yards against us. Yes, Very Aaron Rodgers. Sometimes I wonder if you guys actually watch the games.Good quarterback, but he should not have looked like the next coming of Tom Brady. He is way better than our QB, would love to have him under our center, do we even run under center anymore. We are a shotgun team which I don't like, MR is having to call plays around Rosiers weakness, makes me wonder what will happen next year after this magical season when Perry is clearly better than Rosier. MR will have to make a tough call
Good player who will get his chance in the NFL. A chance, anyway.
Give Steve Fairchild credit. He studied our defense well and he put enough on tape to prevent Manny from having a flat out gameplan or idea of how he would attack our defense.
Any time a QB gets outside of the tackle box our DBs get lost in coverage. Its happened all year.
Almost all of Benkert's TD throws were made on the run or outside of the tackle box.
The very threat of a qb crossing the line of scrimmage without an assigned defender is back breaking for even the best of defenses.
Great game plan by UVA and great halftime adjustment by Manny.
Putting our DE's in a wide 9 with less stunts and keeping Benkert in the pocket single handedly changed the game.
