we've given this guy alot of crap, some of it deserved and some unwarranted ... but he's come home and put us back where we belong ... let's get #6

I’ve trusted his process to get us to tonight for the last 4 years but if things don’t go well, he will get sh*t on by many. It’s not fair imo, we are in a spot no one thought we could get to, beating 3 top 10 teams along the way.

Doubted him a lot, called him a meathead and a caveman a lot but I have come to the sobering conclusion that Mario was our last and only hope to bring us back to relevance. Win or lose tonight, this man has ensured that we will remain a perennial top 12 power for years to come. Thanks Coach!

I won’t be one to **** on him. Yes… we want to win… but honestly from the pundits POV, we’re not even supposed to be here…. and we’re **** near a 10pt. underdog. That being said, let’s go shock the world and get #6!!!!!!

tf ... you been here since 2012, you seen ****** coaching, you see coaches moving from team to team, this dude chose miami and will ALWAYS choose miami ... he deserves flowers on that alone, now add to the fact that he has us on the doorstep of a natty, I WANT TONIGHT BADDD!!! but if we don't get it, look at the health of our program ... it's all because of this guy

If you would have told this fan base after the 2021 season, that we would be getting a new coach, then in year 4 we’d be playing for #6, we would have collectively given ol’ lefty for that. In 2021 we started the season looking like we didn’t belong on the same field as Bama. Now we have monsters all over the place and look at Bama as inferior.

Mario has taken a lot of **** from this fanbase. Some of it deserved. He deserves this though. We deserve it.

Go Canes! Bring the trophy home.

I totally agree. Lets not forget the alum, the adminstration, the NIL funders gave Mario whatever he needed and even the expansion of the Indoor Facility is beneficial. He's the leader and he has gotten deserved favors that are paying off now and ino the future.

i don't think people realize his credibility activated a portion of the fanbased that established our NIL fund
