1. Florida pulled the trigger on McElwain too early. Guy won two SEC east titles and won some impressive come from behind victories. If they don't get Frost who is better? Arrogant idiots.
2. Jimbo Fisher has in my view has become a risk. There's something wrong. There is absolutely no excuse for the implosion of that team just because they lost their QB. They are loaded top to bottom with talent. If he gets the offer to go he ought to. I think it's going to be difficult for him to put humpty-dumpy back together again in Tallahassee.
3. If we win the ACC someone ought to send Al Golden a thank you letter for recruiting most of our starting 22. Failed as a HC but recruited well considering the circumstances.
4. Malik is bewildering. He made some incredible clutch plays to save the FSU and GT games among other key plays. He sleepwalks us into games being closer then they should be and then bails us out late. For that reason I think Richt should have left him in the Pitt game.

Just some thoughts

#3 ummmm NO he didn’t. Our 22 is loaded with over achievers and guys that lost a crucial years of their development becuase of his terrible coaching. Can’t say he recruited well when we wiffed on tons of top tier talent that would only have made us better now.

Al recruited some players. Richt and staff has also developed a lot of those players.

Golden was a dreadful recruiter.

2015 Canes were the slowest and least athletic team wearing the U since 1981.

Lard *** was a terrible Coach and terrible recruiter. So many great players that went to FSU, UF, Alabama, Ohio taint, Louisville, even ****** Arkansas and so many other schools. Many are the best players on their teams.

Bull****on golden.

He was born on a flourishing farm and you want to give him credit for picking some crops while most of the field died.

Can we just move on and never mention the 3 Head Corches who preceeded Mark Richt?
Please, for the love of all that is pure, let's move on.

McIlwain was fired for lying.
Agree on Jimbo
Golden recruited talent but not enough and made up for it with FCS players
Rosier has shown flashes and greatness and awfulness.

#1 No. Just no. It reflects how crappy the SEC has been, not that Yellowtooth was building something bigger. He forced their hand anyway with that nonsense about being sexually harassed or whatever he said.

#2 Jimbo has dropped the ball on recruiting QBs. It was obvious from when he had to take Everret Goldfart as grad transfer. He and the FSU brass must have rubbed each other the wrong way at some point, it's toxic up there.

#3 Oh boy. To be fair, it's relative to what he had at his disposal. Our entire starting 11 on defense will probably make NFL rosters, but the depth he left across the board is where he fell short. No excuse for it given where his recruiting base is situated.

#4 Malik did something yesterday he didn't in those other game. Remember against GT when Malik took like 53 bubbles in a row to move the chains? Well, he didn't do that yesterday. On a day where he was off he went for lower percentage throws, bad choices and bad misses.

Thanks for the response. Seems like all of the other points I made was ignored by most because of the Golden comment. I think that McTooth was on the way out the door before the lying thing. It gave them an excuse to attempt to fire him and avoid the payout because the firming would "Be for cause". Jerks. They failed on that attempt.

McIlwain was fired because the Florida job was too big for him. The lying thing was just their way of saving money when firing him.

Golden recruited DL and LB well, he laid an egg in every other position. Case in point, we could have had Lamar Jackson at QB this year. Instead we have a lightly recruited Baseball player.

they tried running a few bubbles, but minus the one td drive where he hit the one to herndon, he kept misfiring on those. also, pitt did what they could to take away the short stuff and the qb draw.

It wasn't just the bubbles. There were a ton of checkdowns he's been making this year he wasn't reading yesterday. Whatever, it sucks but hopefully he shows the perseverance he has all seasons and we can "shock" a very good Clemson team. We get back in the playoff picture and Pitt gets their jollies.

1.) dont care
2.) Dalvin cook masked the fact they were an 8-4 or 7-5 team last few years. he was that **** good.
3.)Really? guy is reason we have no depth. he recruited more studs for bama, uf, fsu, ohio state, clemson, etc because they didnt want to play for him. The best talent we have with a few exceptions are richt kids. our offense is a mess because of him and our defensive two deep dont exsist.
4.)Rosier is what he is. he should have gotten pulled. needed a wake up call.
