Beck's run on 3rd and 11

I’m not sure either. If it can be played through at all. Or if it happened and he was just done at that point. But I always wondered since a lot of his passes were just kinda off that year. I know he had terrible recievers and protection but he was off.
Definitely could be. Or maybe accuracy is his weakness. I know that sounds funny, but sometimes he’s just not deadly accurate and some QBs just aren’t. He has other strengths and makes good decisions so that’s okay.

I don’t know enough about that injury to know how it works. Is it something that can happen gradually?

I do know something definitely happened on the play where he got injured in that game. I saw it live, and I’ve rewatched it multiple times. But if that’s the type of injury that can start gradually and then have something drastic be the straw that breaks the camel’s back, I see your point. Especially since he was a baseball and football player all up until college.
I watched it again and it looks like a hit that with his throwing motion and the impact when he was pushing his arm forward it just snapped

There were so many big plays by some many of our guys but that conversion on 3rd and 11 may end up being the play that best represents Beck's leadership and pure desire to win and not be denied! You can laugh if you want but the first thing it reminded me of was John Elway's helicopter run on 3rd and 6(IIRC) vs the Packers in Super Bowl XXXII. I'm so happy for Carson Beck! I'm so proud of this entire team and staff!
It was freaking awesome…

Beck was on point all night as our leader leading the offense and we needed him all night…

Dawson said post game he had talked to Carson during the week about him probably needing to run to keep the ball moving. It's not a problem because Carson is a willing runner; Dawson said they have to hold him back from doing it more.
@Cribby said it a bajillion times but all we had to do was keep getting 4 yards

No negative plays. You just can’t do that against OSU

A couple of Becks runs either didn’t lose yards or it picked up 3,4,5 yards and they were huge

Yeah, but maybe the injury could have been more prone to happening because his arm (elbow?) was already worn down? Don’t know. There’s probably a thread on here dissecting this from last spring already.

Spreading of negative yards, how about all those sacks and TFLs out D got???

When Beck is in his proper mindset and feeling it, he is a force. He showed a lot of want-to and confidence last night.

About a year after Tommy John is when a pitcher really starts to get confident in the elbow holding up- this is a huge mental aspect to someone recovering from that injury.
He probably has a little more juice in tha arm if it’s needed
