Beck Key to Victory vs T A@M

I think it goes without saying that as your QB goes, so goes your game. With Beck this is amplified due to his penchant for bunching baffling fvckups at the worst possible times. So the question is, of course, what Beck is going to appear at gametime?

FACT of interest: MIKE ELKO was the defensive coordinator for ND in 2017 and there was a video circulated of him gathered with the ND defensive unit on the field at Hard Rock ... He was dropping F bombs "All I hear about is Miami's ******* defense ... they can have their ******* gold chains ... we will have the ring" .... and we all know how THAT ended ... 41-8. **** sure Elko has that in mind when preparing for this game. Our OL vs their DL their our DL vs their OL. Mano a Mano we win on both sides. Not worried about their offense, plenty of mid SEC teams have been able to give them some resistance.

Now if we get out coached none of what I said matters. The coaching staff is still going to have to do their due diligence and come up with a solid gameplan.
 
Beck hasnt had many tvd type ints where he just is confused and chucks into a dbs arms. Usf. Hit on one. Toney tipped the other. Uf raining on the run and a little behind. Lousiville had 2 ridiculous ints. Great plays. Other 2 weren't great throws decisions. Smu one bounced off an open wr. Other was not great. The one against Pitt was bad. So maybe 5 of the 10. But dont we need to factor in that tamu only has 3ints on the season and only ONE by a DB. How is that even possible ? For all the pass rush and exotic looks we hear about and they generate almost zero turnovers. Lets not forget they aren't exactly facing the best qbs with that schedule.


To me unless beck Is just god awful terrible or getting hit 70% of the time, I'm not sure why everyone expects beck to throw ints in this game ? Smu and louusville are top 20 in ints so while not acceptable atleast its understandable as to why he might have thrown 6 in those 2 games

I fully expect them to do whatever they can to slow down Toney and dare someone else to beat them. Need someone else from our receiver corp to step up.
 
I think Reed is the biggest X Factor. Does he rip off some big runs scrambling? Will the Miami DL be more conservative in rushing the passer or will they let loose and be more willing to live with some potential scrambles for first downs?
